The Boulder Bank, Nelson

Yet again, I’ve arrived here, my favourite place around Nelson. Tonight its a bit hazy with stiff wind blowing from the north and a steadily increasing tide. On most previous visits, I’ve struggled to capture the bank itself, usually wandering down to the water. But tonight, the soft side light provided by the sun setting through the clouds makes it as perfect as I think it could get.
