I arrived at this location just in time to take one shot before the sun dipped behind the clouds hanging over the Kahurangi hills. Thus I lost the golden side lighting hitting the island but I perservered, dropping the shutter speed by several stops, and made a photograph with a completely different feel to the previous one. Just goes to show how much difference a couple of minutes can make.
