Tahunanui Beach is a justifiably popular place to have a pre-wedding shoot or even photographs on your wedding day. There are dunes, trees, sand and a play ground – what more could you want? Add to that a great background and this iconic destination should never be ruled out. There are always different photographs to capture and memories to be made.
Susan and Luke are getting married in March 2013 and we met to take some photographs, have a relaxed chat about their day. They were just a little bit nervous about being in front of the camera, but soon relaxed a bit and we got some great shots.
We all enjoyed the hour or so we spent running about in the surf (I should have worn shorts!) and looking for different locations where Susan and Luke felt most relaxed. By the end of the session, we all felt it had been very useful to get to know each other a little better and to be very comfortable around a camera. It really can be a lot of fun – or at least no where near as bad as some people think.
